Mochi Waffle Mix

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

These are like no waffles you’ve experienced before, and the subtle taste of vanilla in the Mochi Foods Hawaii Original Maffles make them great on their own or with complementary flavors. It’s time to dust off your waffle maker to create deep pockets of crispy textures that give way to a toothsome chewiness, perfect for snacks, breakfasts, and desserts. Belgium may be well known for its waffles, now it’s Hawaii’s turn to bring a new twist to this classic–Maffles! A hint of vanilla makes these Maffles anything but ordinary.

INGREDIENTS

Modified starch, wheat starch, rice flour, dough improver, sugar, salt.

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

1-1/2 cups Maffle Mix,
1/2 cup milk,
1/4 cup vegetable oil,
1 large egg,
powdered or granulated sugar.

Combine all ingredients and mix for 1 minute. Take an ice cream scoop or tablespoon and take enough dough to make a small ball. Roll the ball in the sugar to coat the outside. Drop the ball into the center of the waffle maker and press down the lid. Cook for about 1 minute or until the Maffle is crispy brown.
